I guess that Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla, Sergey Brin, Elon Musk, would fit right into your prejudices....

Oh yeah I can think for myself but, thanks for trying to push your opinions and...

Re: Cuttlefish barrels

Few years back I swapped out a standard mech for a reverse on an Aimrite gun I had been using for 10+ years. I had the gun dialed in and killed hundreds of fish with it over many years. After the...

Re: What To Do About Rubber Rot (gummy bungees)?

Simple answer....don't use them. Use a reel on all guns and you don't need them. Haven't used one for over 20 years. There is no need for one.

Re: band retraction speed... 14 vs 16 vs 20

Why wouldn't bands which are "hotter" not have more energy or force than ones which are cold? Wouldn't the molecules in the "heated/just loaded" band be traveling faster, exerting both more energy...

Re: Carbonia 115x6

Actually this is a significant problem with this gun. Especially when you have a reel installed and you absolutely cannot see the hooks

Re: Doggies - can an inverted roller really cut the mustard??

150's and 160's with double floppers for doggies. And for the naysayers....last year with my Roisub I put an 8mm shaft completely through the thickest part of a GT's head. I could have never done...

Re: Doggies - can an inverted roller really cut the mustard??

I agree with everything Gecko said. Deeper dives in current. Not great places for large guns. Although I did shoot my largest DT 75kg with a 140 :)

Although I do still have an Albacore 130, I...

Re: Spearguns for Dogtooth Tuna

Your Salvimar would be best gun. Change to offset double flopper shaft 8mm. Make sure you pack 3 shafts per gun. Set up both guns with 14.5 small diameter rubbers cut @ 360%. There is no reason...

Re: Setup for Pathos Laser Open Carbon

Yup what he said :D

MAYBE, if this was a gun you were attempting distant shots @ trophy fish where accuracy would be most important I MIGHT agree. But this is a peashooter shooting small fish...

Its obvious you don't freedive and spearfish

Reels are for freedivers and basic purposes are for safety and keeping track of a shaft/gun left on the bottom and for staying attached to...

Re: A new hybrid

As usual your guns do not fail to impress. Very nice gun! Lines are beautiful, both of them :D

I do have a comment though and its about how the shooting line wrap does not allow the flopper to...

Re: Does a single set of 20mm band work well as the "bottom" band for invert roller g

Every company or maker uses different combos. Probably based on gun/shaft size. If a gun company tests their guns and they have set them up, it might not be wise to change that. Using a 20mm band...

I use to be a huge fan of Aimrite. Used the guns for many years with great success no question. I don't think the handle and Mech has changed in more than 10 years. Yes they kill fish properly...

Re: Rollergun Recoil and the Jerk (not the owner!)

:scratch::scratch:

And what is wrong with that....the thread is about rollers and the lack of recoil. Fact is rollerguns shoot larger shafts in smaller guns very successfully. Where no small...
