Re: Flying fish w/southwest

I drove it straight through once before and it was terrible, took like 22hrs towing a trailer. This time I'm going to try and do it in 3 days, and a yeti is a bit too expensive for me now. I'm flying...

Flying fish w/southwest

I got a job in Colorado, moving at the end of July. I am driving but my wife and son are flying out. My question is what sort of cooler should I get to fly out a ton of fish. Been incredibly lucky...

Re: WSB Picture Thread

Finally got my fist one! Took months of hunting, a few missed shots, two ripped out spears and a bent shaft. Finally got a Andre 145cm mid-handle and it delivered.

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread

Muddy, just from driving by it doesn't look great. I was going to try it this weekend but I caught my sons cold. Not sure why this mud has just sat around since march

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread

I took a shot at the fish of a lifetime last week, hit it square in the side. Unfortunately it ripped my spear out (was using a flipper tip) and bent my shaft. It was massive over 55 for sure. Since...

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread

All this rain is killing the vis pretty much everywhere. All this wind coming next week isn't going to help at all. Hoping it clears soon.

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread

You are correct, just watched it swim by. I don't shoot fish that are in the "could be legal" range. I'll only shoot if I know for sure it is legal.

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread

Went today. Deeper water was terrible. 5ft max, inside was nice 15-20f vist. Got one sheeps head, saw a small halibut, a massive (90-120lb) bat ray, and a 20in WSB. My buddy saw a 20lb WSB in 8ft of...
