one option, which provides perfectly distributed ballast, is going up half a mil in shaft diameter. With invert roller setup recoil from the heavier shaft should not be a problem.....

Hey Anders!
pics below of Hunt 8.5mm shaft with tail chopped so rear tab sits right up snug with mech roof.

Easy job with a hacksaw and round file, and allows you to size the sear slot width...

is that because it’s IN FRONT of the band hole? thus less possibility of getting wrapped up than if the line guide is located rear of the band hole? a la Pathos and Abellan

So the Salvimar sleeve comprising the band riser forces one of the two bands up and in-line with the shaft

the other band stays down and loads at the usual angle

having one of the two bands...

the tabs on the Hunt shafts have performed flawlessly for me on dogtooth well over 50kg, and thats using 400lb cable and a big tunaboard, so theres some serious loading on that rest tab. Have one...

a roided up Dremel ........ does sound useful! 8mm shank eh?, you’d carve unobtainium with that. the Bosch pedstal drill was badly needed, drilling anything true 90 deg with a sloppy old cordless...
