Re: I Have Gazed At Santa's Sack!

Come over to the dark side of Facecrack. Most of the original crew are there and there are some epic D4B posts still. And it is easy to block the cones.

Re: The Collapse of the Gulf of Mexico Grouper Fishery

Catch shares only concentrate the profits , they have nothing to do with the health of a fishery.Fisheries are best managed with spawning closures and TAC adjustments. Thankfully the commercial ...

Re: GPS rollover

I've got some pretty accurate conversions and offsets for wrecks from Daytona to Oregon Inlet if you ever want to convert any of those East Coast numbers. I ran LORAN and GPS next to each other and...

Re: Who is Afraid of Bull Sharks?

Agreed, never a good idea to back dive when sharks are sketchy except to retrieve worthwhile fish. We don't lift fish as tigers and sandbars will follow it right up.
There used to be more bulls...

Re: A few Bugs and a Black

Yeah, I understand the logistics. Too many people trying to divide to few fish with many opportunities. I am as spoiled as they come, hardly anyone outside my small circle of friends see the...

Re: Diver(s) needed on regular basis

A lot of people are on social media where it is easy to unfollow or block completely and coneheads.
Many forums are dieing. Younger folks want an integrated online experience.

Re: Jail for Lionfish

It's on the NMFS website. It's a lease from Texas. Probly about 7 grand a year. But then , you'd have an issue with having a lobster permit as the boat can only have a permit from one person at a...

Re: Jail for Lionfish

They have a valid snapper grouper lease. But if they sold direct to restaurants, that would likely not be legal. I'll wait to see how the lionfish case proceeds before passing judgement. They may...

Re: High stretch Small ID bands on with Ab Biller trigger mechs?

That mech will take at least 150# of pull for several thousand loadings. It will get tight and jam usually, sometimes they will misfire. My LTD used the same mech as the other Billers and it had 3 or...

Re: Lionfish Shooter with small trident

I use barbed or rusty 3 tine JBL paralyzer on a spare 60 inch shaft. No band, I just jab them.
As they average over a pound for me it's one at a time into the zookeeper. Cocking a gun or pulling...

Re: Multi-Prong Tips, Higher Speed Less Drag

The trick to using them is to aim for a stone...
