Re: Social distancing

Can you imagine spearing a 600lb Bluefin? I had a Jewfish grab a big RS I hit good and solid through the head and that bad boy keel-hauled me over and under a very large ledge off of Canaveral.

I...

Re: Sebastian or Canaveral Vis

Each year, many people die from the Flu. No, that's not funny, but closing off beaches and open water is ridiculous. I would think being in wide-open areas would be safe or at least safer than other...

Re: Fish or Finance...Pt. 2

Been out of the CF game for some time, so been there already and decided to make money elsewhere, but you do need to listen to people like Marcus in the sense that there's agenda in all policy...

Re: Sebastian Inlet area visibility

Sebastian has some ups and downs. I've seen it go from 80' to black-out in one dive. Fort Pierce and Canaveral are similar.

Re: What would you do?

I didn't see the OP, but just from the responses, sounds like someone you don't need on your boat. Over the years I've taken all kinds of folk out and most were okay but some were carrying Firearms,...

Re: Project Boat Discussion: Tips, Ideas, Mistakes...

I like the construction of that Bertram hull w/ the solid molded glass stringers. My custom Ocean Master was built the same way and you will never have to worry about rot or delamination - you can...

Re: Oceanic White Tip Shark Attack...

Kaboom! People are too passive or patient in the wild world under the surface. That shark would have been neutralized and everyone out of the water on my boat. Two guys on the dive would have...

Re: More from Spearcrafters... 762x54R PPD

762X54 is way too much (or better said overkill) IMO, but I never used more than a .357. The Russian round is indeed on par with a 30-06. Just be careful. I think the kickback from a bad close-in...

Re: Video: 9/17/18 | Ledges and The RJ Thompson

Enjoyed it. Tell me about the Bertram build?

Re: Project Boat Discussion: Tips, Ideas, Mistakes...

Nice work. Reminds me of what I did to my Ocean Master. As you know, I'm working on a Seacraft and doing the same deal basically. Keep em' coming. Love it.

Re: 4 strokes left running 20 minutes without water

My man, if this is true, your ECMs should have cut off the ignition way before serious damage... that would be after 2004 or so. Even still a good oiled motor 4 stroke could idle a very long time....

I'm between jobs now until 7/9. Anyone need glass/core/transom work let me know. I work with coosa, Nida and good old ply. I prefer epoxy for strength and it's ability to adhere to most anything....
