For all we know, he sold pencils at a streetcorner or Tupperware door-to-door. None of that really matters. This is another in a long line of unnecessary human tragedies in our country. Despite the pitiful and "prolific" legacy this fellow has left, I think this degree of racially-tainted ridicule is unwarranted. Come on guys, drop this thread. Are you for real? Things are really sunny out there in Irvine, huh? This was no human tradegy. This was society scraping the dog shit off the bottom of its Birkenstocks. I lived in New Orleans as recently as five years ago before entrepreneurs like "Flair" forced me out to the suburbs. Now, I get to deal with them trying to improve their lot in life by dragging my property values down out here too. The only tragedy is that his momma wasn't fixed before she had him.

The TP (both meaning apply) is so politically correct it praised Marc Morial as a great leader. The following mayor has fired ALL the employees from 3 major city departments for corruption, and he's just now getting started on the school system. Marc raised the bar for corruption in public office to a high art even by Louisiana's loose standards. The artful taking and demanding of bribes was even part of the official training mandatory to new employees in one department.

If the "product" the "victim" sold was legal they would have mentioned it by name. NO has a very high "murder" rate. Almost all of it is due to "negotiating territory disputes" between dealers of illegal products, be it drugs or rental females.

New Orleans is a cess pool. New Orleans hit the top spot per capita last year in the Murder category and, go figure, over ninety percent of the killing was done over drugs. Almost seventy percent were high at the time of their demise, and over a third of the killers were repeat offenders. The only reason that the percentage wasn't higher concerning the victims on drugs is that I have no tolerance for this behavior and applaud all efforts made to cull society of these people.
