Re: Mid handle gun?
I have to agree with you Nix. I used my Ulusub mid handle 150cm 2 days ago.The best shooting and the most well balanced gun I've ever shot.

Re: Mid handle gun?
Ok so one other question for everyone. Keep in mind I'm looking for a lower 50" gun. Enclosed track or open??

Re: Mid handle gun?
Full Enclosed track... IMO (if your line shafting)
Open track guns can suffer from tail whip if the bands are not calibrated just right. If you overpower them even a little... its a big problem. (Note: Some may make the argument... that overpowering the bands is foolish... but i like having enough punch on my guns to pull some reel line on full drag when it hits the end of my shoot line. Just in case I need a long shot on a big fish that needs full punch.)

Re: Mid handle gun?
It depends if your shooting close range if you are it could damage your track if you shoot a fish and shaft doesnt exit the track, as far as accuracy enclosed is better.

Re: Mid handle gun?
Mid handle, enclosed track, trigger behind the handle, custom build to your specs= lots of bang for your buck. Your aim will be slightly "different" than a rear handle gun, practice a few times before trophy hunting.

Re: Mid handle gun?
Unfortunately that pic was the prototype euro taken a year and half ago, before I was counter sinking the wood for the length of the handle and utilizing the auto-return in the trigger-mech. I attached a pic of a recent standard BW build, I know its not a euro however the ballast points are the same as well as the lines/design of the gun. I have a few euro's that will be complete in the upcoming weeks and I have not added them to the site yet do to the fact the day the gun is finished I try my best to get it out the door and stay close to the schedule I promised the buyer. I will get the pics on this thread when I finish taking them for the site.
