Re: Urgently help for rubber.
Use one 16mm rubber. Are you making your own bands? What is the distance from last notch to band hole?

Re: Urgently help for rubber.
For the last notch, use a band around 44cm (3.5x stretch). Make sure to use good quality rubber. I assume your shaft is near 6.5mm thick, so one 16mm band or two 14mm bands should work well. Please update the wishbones. Use a shorter style, hopefully dyneema. If the shaft notch is sharp, you'll need to round it with a file to use dyneema.

Re: Urgently help for rubber.
That gun requires a fair amount of work to get it to work properly! Let me elaborate:
- That gun does not seem to have a shaft track, which means that any rubber pulling on the shaft from any direction which is not fully paralell to the shaft, will pull down on the tail of the shaft and ruin your aluminum tube and your accuracy. So, the solution is to add one of those stick on shaft tracks BEFORE you even think about a second circular band through the hole in the muzzle (I understand this is what you want to do). - Wishbone is one of the cheapest ones in the market. Too long and too fragile. Either change it for an articulated one, or, cut the rubber, ditch the threaded ends and use short metal wishbone with inserts like the ones made by Meandros. - The original bands are waaaaay too long. When I was still using that kind of guns and bands, I was using G20 22cm long bands in a 90cm pipe gun. Good punch! You have a shorter gun, softer bands and they are even longer. Cut them to 20cm or so, and you will not need a second band. And now a question. Which fish and in which conditions are you spearfishing to require a second band on a 75cm gun with a 6,5 thick shaft??? Post a couple pictures of the whole gun please. Mikel |
