Re: She's got a nice rack!
You must have been awfully confident to cut out those gunnel caps and the only plans you had were "in your head". Looks good though!!
I'm wondering, do you lose any structural hull integrity cutting that much out of the caps? I'm guessing a day in some rough seas will tell you that. |

Look a little closer He did not cut the cap. Only cut out that non structural insert. I say outstanding job! Last edited by WreckDiver; 04-30-2007 at 08:59 AM. |

Sweet mod
I suspect you may have just set a new standard, especially for guys who like their racks 'enhanced' |

NEVER thought I'd see WPSpearo actually smiling in a picture
I guess winning a tourney will do that to a guy here it is again - permanently posted for all to see (in case he changes his avatar) |

Re: She's got a nice rack!
I'm impressed with the quality and design for a dude who self-admittedly isn't
a mechanical kind of guy.......... it looks excellent for even expert work... --I'd advise to do this though: go out and buy that section (that you cut) as a replacement now, while it's readily available and easy to get while you can. The next guy who buys your boat might not think too highly of the mod, and you could loose a potential sale because of it.......... You'll have a "spare" --Sherpa ................... just is case, doncha know.... |

The racks look and perform great! Les, i'm surprised you posted the pic of my Rabitech's in there.... I thought that was considered heresy.
