Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread
yeah john where did that gun come from? That looks like one from Mike of Man-Midhandles. Is it a sinker, because the 27 1/2" gun I got from Mike sinks even with the shaft out and I love it for hunting in the holes.

I was at North Bu today. Out side of kelp had some vis. at about 15'. No one heard or seen. Took home a 8 lbs sheep for tacos.

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread
Dove near Big Rock this morning on the high tide. Vis was decent at about 10 feet. Looked for halibut in the mixed rocks and sand. Given the huge number of baitfish I expected more but only found 1, which was marginally sized, so left to live another day. Lots of rays and I saw and played with a beautiful big octopus. The outer kelp was pretty murky and other than the dozen large garibaldi hanging out I didn't see (or hear) anything big. Just as I was getting cold the S. wind also came up and started wrecking the vis a bit.

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread
dove s.malibu a couple hours ago and it was green, a little surgey and definately colder than the weekend. Vis was from 2 -5 feet inside turning to pea soup out in the kelp. Saw several small halibut and heard some croaking but its pretty tough goin in the bay right now!!!
