Dive Saturday Chesapeake
I'm taking the boat out tomorrow to hit the bay Bridge tunnel and possibly the tower. I've got room for two on board. Shoot me a message if you'd like to go. Weather looks half decent. I'll probably leave out of rudee inlet or somewhere by the bridge. Looking to be on the water by 8am.

Re: Dive Saturday Chesapeake
I just moved to DC from SoCal. What’s the diving like in the Chesapeake? What species do you target and how’s the average vis? I haven’t heard much, but what I have heard hasn’t been terribly positive....

Re: Dive Saturday Chesapeake
Come tomorrow and see for yourself! Generally offshore viz is very good, but it can get murked up in the bay. Sometimes the tide brings in enough clean water to have 10-15ft viz which is good for us. We have lower standards. We target sheepshead, tautog, striped bass, cobia, amberjack, flounder, and spade fish mostly

Re: Dive Saturday Chesapeake
I would but most of my gear didn’t make it over here yet. Maybe next time...
