Jebel Irhoud is the location in Morroco. Here is a very good science article on the find. On the water planet Earth that is 4.6 billion years old, 300,000 years is not that long ago for us humans to evolve in Africa and exist as our current species Homo Sapien to then spread our species throughout the planet.
