Arrow Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

We wanted to create a central location to make it easier for Spearboard users to share visibility reports. This thread is targeted for reports from the area between Homosassa and Sarasota in the Tampa Bay region of Florida's Gulf Coast. We appreciate everyone's contribution!

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Friday 8-06-11 dive report ...50 ft of water to the NW of Anclote Was about 10 ft at best...came in to the east to a ledge in 45 ft and it was the same...went south due west of Anclote and found decent vis in 35 -40 ft...lots of hogs (4 limits) a legal scamp and a red grouper
The green snot is starting to get thick..the vis was about 20 -25 ft...look due west of 3 rooker/ anclote in 30 -40 for the best vis right now...may be better south off Clearwater??

Port Richey: 60' of water = 25'-45' vis (on the bottom) and 45' of water = 0'-5' of vis.
