Rob Allen Roller gun problem
My Rob allen roller gun's bands keep Popping off at the anchor point when I fire the gun. Anyone know how to prevent this? Make the wishbones smaller maybe?

Re: Rob Allen Roller gun problem
seems like there you may need to pre-tension that band more

Re: Rob Allen Roller gun problem
Does it come off before or after you fire?

Re: Rob Allen Roller gun problem
More pre tension, when you fire a roller ,after the shot there will be a shock wave that travels back and forth a couple times and will kick the band's off , so ether more tension or tighter loops on the anchors

Re: Rob Allen Roller gun problem
Just wrap the loop over the pin twice if you don't want to add more pretension.
But the whole point of the roller is to have some good pretension so that you are getting power right to the tip of the speargun, crank that bad boy up! |
