Makes perfect sense. Red is one of the colors that dissapear first when the light starts dimming.... There has to be a reason why safety floats are orange.

Agreed - red gun was actually on the thought line that red colors disappear at depth...

The bright neon green definitely sticks out.

I wonder if I bought a whole box 1500' from primeline if people here would be interested in buying some of it up...Id keep enough for me for a year...& potentially sell at slightly over cost to cover my time in cutting and packing a ton of rubber during limited time in the states coming up. But I might be willing to do that if it was a service to the community.

I cant be the only one that wants awesome neon 14mm bands.

I like black/amber. I'm simple.

And if I was you, I'll use a float instead of playing with the possibility to get lost in the middle of the ocean.

If you retrieve your floatline while you're breathing up, it doesn't do any drag when you dive (and the float will be just aside you at any time).

Good luck with your experiment.

Re: Source of Bulk Colored Rubber

Just get florescent pink or orange tape and wrap it around the top end of the barrel. Easier and much cheaper.

I bought two sets of these I think.

Didnt really push them enough to be able to say whether or not they were any good...

Switched to primeline as it was cheaper...but thats 16mm.

After being on fire for about a month with one, old, tattered 16mm band on my 120cm RA I am looking to change bands since replacing them and not hitting a damn thing since.

Not sure what is up there, but I know that I dont like it. I feel like I am most likely over powered.
