Yes, There are two other hotels within 5 minutes of the resort. One is right next to maximo marina. The names escape me but I can check on my way home.
Why would you want to stay someplace different than the resort?

The Holiday Inn is sold out. There is a hotel next to Maximo Marina. It used to be a Howard Johnson and it just got bought by somebody else. It is a dive, but it will do if you have been offshore all day and need to sleep

That explains it.
St. Petersburg Beach is only 10 minutes from the resort as well. Lots of really nice places to stay down there. You do have to go through a toll however.

I have been putting up flyers at all the local Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig's, as well as the trailer parks. It should be a target rich environment for you

Nice work Ken! That will give Steve something to shoot at during the weigh-in since he won't be shooting much during the day. Maybe the SPUC's will create a new category just for Steve?

Any greasy roll will do. If you guys need a tool to pick 'em out with, how about this idea. It kinda works like a lobster gauge. Except its a pepperoni, about 8 inches long and about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. If you can tuck that pepperoni completely under any loose skin/flab/roll, then please invite her to the party.

Thanks.

Maybe if you save him a fresh "Roll" and let him tap it after you are done, Rich will let you use his room again this year.
