The war on cash

A central banker/fascist government's utopia. Once they force us all into a digital currency that requires banks to hold our money then they can fully implement negative interests rates whereby you'll have to also pay the banks to hold your money. Check mate.

The War On Cash Is Advancing On All Fronts: "First They Came For The Pennies..."

Quote:
...So in order to save a financial system that is morally beyond the pale and stopped serving the basic needs of the real economy a long time ago, governments and central banks must do away with the last remaining thing that gives people a small semblance of privacy, anonymity, and personal freedom in their increasingly controlled and surveyed lives.

The biggest tragedy of all is that the governments and banks’ strongest ally in their War on Cash is the general public itself. As long as people continue to abandon the use of cash, for the sake of a few minor gains in convenience, the war on cash is already won.

A war conducted by bankers, politicians, academics, even startup guys.
It will be interesting to see how the black market deals with this. Gold?

The Shift To A Cashless Society Is Snowballing

Quote:
Love it or hate it, cash is playing an increasingly less important role in society. In some ways this is great news for consumers. The rise of mobile and electronic payments means faster, convenient, and more efficient purchases in most instances. However, there is also a darker side in the shift to a cashless society. Governments and central banks have a different rationale behind the elimination of cash transactions, and as a result, the so-called “war on cash” is on....

Re: The war on cash

So what will be the under ground replacement for cash once it is banned? Gold, silver, bitcoin?

Yes, yes, and hopefully not....as one of the purveyors of such has been implicated in the pedophilia circle....in as so much that he has ties to the establishment so as to discredit the integrity of the thought process all together. I've had my doubts from the beginnings of this 'fiat non-cashless' form of money as one should. The reasons for such are now coming to bear. It's apparent now that the creators of such are not honest moral men...and has ties to the establishment. That in itself is enough to scare me away from this alleged crypto currency that is supposedly created to thwart the establishment, aka central bankers.
Regarding gold/silver...if you don't hold the phys...you don't own it. Be careful.
