Steve, Vis is still pretty bad. Bottom seems to be still stirred up. I didn't find clean water until 145' to 150'.

Re: Vis reports from Ft pierce to sebastian

Vis last Saturday North of Sebastian in 80-100 ft was 2-3 ft and 64 OTB. If anyone gets out the next few days let me know how it is. Last week the water was as brown as I have ever seen it all throughout the column.

Vis was 4-8 ft in 90 ft NE of Sebastian. Bottom temp was 65 degrees. Still lots of bugs up that way.

Vis out of Sebastian in 80 ft was about 12 ft and 73 degrees which was 5 degrees warmer than the surface. Not bad diving.

Vis today out of Sebastian in 80 ft was 25-40 ft. Lots of bugs. Bottom temp still warmer than the surface. Good day.

Vis at the pines (55-60 ft ) was blacked out.

great conditions out of Sebastian yesterday. We dove the 45 ft reef off vero beach pier. Vis was nearly top to bottom. decent current running north on top but bottom was light. water temp is 78 on top and upper 60's on bottom. shot several really nice trigger and a couple slob mangoes.

Re: Vis reports from Ft pierce to sebastian

Have not been out yet this year. I was thinking about taking a day off this week to get my speargun wet. has anyone been out of Sebastian lately, and if so how was the Vis and temps. Is it worth loosing a days pay yet? the last report I received was about two weeks back and was told Vis in 60 was 5ft and in 80 was about 8 to 10 and cold. The seas look calm this week. Any info would be appreciated.

Last weekend was hazy 10 in 70 to 90.
Shootable, but not much fish around.

Re: Vis reports from Ft pierce to sebastian

Got out on Friday the 14th, went out of the Sebastian Inlet east to 75 feet. First dive Visibility was about 10 feet, green, very snotty and a little chilly. But was shootable. Grabbed a Trigger, and sheepshead. Saw two red grouper that look like they were right on the line so I left those there.
The next dive we moved north about 3 miles. Still 80 feet. Visibility went up to 15 to 18 feet, And the snotty stuff was about 20 feet off the bottom. Once we swam through it the water was pretty clear. Here we grabbed a nice grouper, a few snapper, and some fat lions. We have one more dive on the way in. 55 feet Visibility was 12 to 15 feet but a much brighter, still chilly. Here we grabbed a pare of mangos. Seas were flat all day. Not the cleanest diving ever but if you have the time off I’d say go out.
Also, while we were at the boat ramp pulling out I spoke to another boat that was out fishing and they said they were south in front of Disney in 25 feet of water and they could see the bottom.
