NEW YEARS: Good Intentions & Bad Resolutions

...We all greet each new year with vows to change our ways by making noble resolutions: Eat healthier and fit into our wetsuits better by losing weight; increase our wealth and stop buying stuff we don't really need; show more patience toward our fellow man; etc, etc...…

...Like most of you, I make the same promises to myself year after year. However, as I write this, I am stuffing myself with guac and chips, followed by lots of Ghirardelli chocolates....Later, we will celebrate the New Year at the Aquarium of the Pacific where, like in past years, my wife will patiently end up as the designated driver.. and like always, I will probably continue to give the finger to idiot speeding drivers who cut me off, only to stop at the red light fifty feet ahead...
...As I start to approach old age, I realize it is not the accomplishments that count..it is the good intentions. So, as 2018 disappears into the annals of history, continue to make resolutions you will never keep and live life like you always have done....It's the American Way!
... Happy New Year...Honey, where did you put the other bag of Ghirardelli and, when is the next boat auction?

Re: NEW YEARS: Good Intentions & Bad Resolutions

Happy New Years to all! Question: Is it legal to fish near the Channel Islands oil rigs with a small boat...35’. If so or not, what distance do we need to maintain. I understand after 9/11, rules were changed. I would appreciate any comments! Thanks Chuck

Don't know about up north, but, in Long Beach, you are too close when they drop a wrench on your head.....
