Hey Ben there is another ledge about 100 yds in front of the pier we found that runs north and south. Hope the weather works out for this weekend.

Re: Do you want to beach/kayak dive next weekend?

When we went out last weekend the beach was covered in them. But in the water I did'nt see alot but the JellyFish were everywhere we actually jumped back in the kayak. We ran into a wall of them but we went out sunday and the jellyfish were'nt as bad.I call the Ft.Lauderdale Beach Conditions to get updates in the morning 954-828-4597 and here is Holywood's 954-921-3334 they usually update them every morning between 8 or 9 am.

i'll be wearing a light suit just for jelly protection...

I think I am going to go tomorrow at around 10 (leaving kendall) and heading for the commercial pier area...I'll be bringing my tandem and my neighbor, who is a total noob, look for me in the big green yak.

I'm still down to go on sat and possibly sunday so hollar

Re: Do you want to beach/kayak dive next weekend?

The park is off of 27th st in Ft.Lauderdale. Go down the the beach heading north past sunrise and when you hit the high rises look for 27th make a right you should run right into it. They have a 3 hour max and it's $1 an hour. Is anyone going to try there luck in the morning my buddy and I are thinking of trying to go out anyway.
