Modifications to fit blades into Beuchat pockets?

I got the Beuchat foot pockets because they were the one that fit me perfectly. I thought they would be standardized and able to fit the majority of blades on the market, but that was a bad assumption since none fit except their own.

I have read about people making modifications to get other blades to work but haven't seen any specifics on how to do it. What exactly needs to be modified to get them to work? Does anyone happen to have any picture from when they did it?

Thanks
Brandon

From what I understood there is a rubber section in the heel of the blade that would fit inside the notch that some blades have. You might want to try and separate the slot a little bit and see if you can see whats causing it not to fit. Might just need some trimming with a sharp blade.

The pockets do not have a t slot for blade rails to fit in. Just measure how deep the pocket rails are and trim them off. Then they will slide right in. Also the pockets have attaching screws for blades. Not needed just glue your blades in and they work fine. Been using those pockets for many years as they fit my feet perfect.

I wasnt making reference to the rails, but the notch that might be stopping the blade from fully inserting in the heel. I didnt think he was talking about gluing them in either, just trying to get them to fit.

It was the rail issue that I was thinking about. Do you have trim it all the way down to blade? I'm just a little worried about damaging it.

I also have heard about using black silicon to glue the blades in so it isn't quite as permanent?
