Re: Puerto Rico Blue Water Hunting
Weeeell, it seems wahoooooos are back in town.
Normally we have hoos all year long, but a few months a year they are in greater numbers. Here a short story. We headed out to a place last saturday to get a few fish, we normally hit diferent places so not to scare fish away, or take too many fish from one place. We jump in the water and after a while a single wahoo appear from nowere , and it was moving really fast, some of the guys follow it and it disapered into the blue. After that, we saw a few more, one by one they would appear out of the blue, really cool. I shot one, not too big, like 25 pounds, it drag me on the surface with such a strengh that its hard to explain how such a small fish can be so strong. We got a few, but one of them had a broken jaw, and it was trying to eat my friends Rainbow runner who he had just shot, I dont know how this fish could eat like that, or what happen to its jaw, it had no pucture marks like of hooks or things like that, and it was probably a big blue marlin that are on season right now. What do you guys think? We had a blast, water was very warm and very clear. Here a few pics:

Re: Puerto Rico Blue Water Hunting
Guys, it was not a jaw shot, this wahoo was just like that , swiming with the ugliest face you can imagine.
Scary the way it had the jaws hanging like that.
