Re: A few Bugs and a Black
Nice dive. It kills me how desolate it is down there compared to what I'm used to.

Re: A few Bugs and a Black
I was so damn excited to actually get a grouper, that I left my light in the hole. I haven't got one in a looong time around here...

Eating good there, Jim.... I'd bet with a little "shock" motivation you'd have got that black out of the hole a little quicker.

If you have a captain who knows what they are doing, they can still put you on fish. Had a nice day the other day and captain put me on some fish. Although a goliath stole my cubera, i managed two other nice fish. Last edited by SEA_ARCHER; 12-11-2019 at 06:30 PM. |

Re: A few Bugs and a Black
Yeah, I understand the logistics. Too many people trying to divide to few fish with many opportunities. I am as spoiled as they come, hardly anyone outside my small circle of friends see the quality and amount of fish we do.
A lot also has to with forage fish, lots more the further north you go along with more bottom , fewer people and much longer rides. Thankfully, it's not worth it for many people to dive around me.
