anyone target flounder or sole?

looking to get out and chase some flounder or sole to develope some skills before next season. is there anyplace around the sound that i might be able to find some table fare sized fish? if anyone has a spot, i live in olympia and will do the driving.

Pretty much any sandy beach in puget sound you can find plenty of flounder and sole. Most of the sole I see are not real huge, but there are some 16-18" around. Starry flounder can get very big and I've seen some nice ones.

thanks petej. ive seen a few around maybe 12 inches but lots of small one. havent been to many places here yet, guess ill just keep trying new spots.

Also on the east side of the sound there are some good spots. Check where eel grass is also. If there is a sandy "island" in a bunch of eel grass you should find some sole there.
