Re: BN: JBL 2ATM 30L Zeppelin II Hypalon Float & Sea Vine Stretchable Float Line

Just talked to JBL and this float is rated to 20psi COLD and is a true 2ATM float. It's actually rated higher than my 30L Spearmaster float. Hmmm....

Re: BN: JBL 2ATM 30L Zeppelin II Hypalon Float & Sea Vine Stretchable Float Line

Here are some pics next to a spearmaster 30L float. The JBL is a little shorter, but wider and a bit more oval. Here it is inflated to about 10 psi. My little 12v compressor was taking too damn long. Sam at JBL said fill to 20psi in the morning before taking off in the boat. The float can take the extra pressure that will generate once the sun comes out and it gets hot, so it will probably be more like a 25psi float. The nice thing about this one is it has the option to run a weight and float for Catalina, etc. Just for clarification, the Riffe 3 ATM float is rated to max 25 psi, but most people I've spoken to who have them, run them at 20.

Two people flaked so far. Price reduced to $90 or $100 shipped for the float. Keeping the float line for now.

Smesh, do you still have the float and/or floatline available? And any chance you'll be at the Fathomiers scramble on Saturday?

I would like to say kudos to "Smesh" . Would definitely recommend buying from him.

The float arrived in time however there was an issue with the shipping and the seller worked very quickly on resolving the matter.

Kudus back for your patience and for sending it back. Sucks it got sliced in transit. Looked like some dude used the box as a cutting board. #uspssucks
