Any Indoor Pools in area for Practice?
Hi Guys,
Anyone know of a pool or something in the area that is deep enough to need to equalize in? I was hoping to get my girlfriend in the water to practice shallow dives in clear water over the winter and get used to equalizing. I didn't want to start in the ocean as it would be easier with no current. Any indoor pools that are at least 18 feet should be good. I was thinking Dutch Springs in shallow water but I believe you need your FII level 1 card to do that. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Do negatives to simulate depth. Let all your air out at the surface (or most of it - as much as you can stand) and then sink to the bottom of the deep end. You will find it very difficult to equalize - good training.
