Re: Project boats

All wood including decks, cap, boxes, dash and transom was replaced with nidacore and coosa bluewater. Not one molecule of wood on the boat.

Re: Project boats

Went to Floridah to pick up a 1984 Mako 19 with a 175 hp Evinrude for my kid.He has a Johnson 175 that is running to swap out.Boat had no soft spots!Needed new tires and lights to get her home.
Would be a nice restore but son wants to flip her and move to the next one.

Left at 5:30 am and got back at 4:00am this morning.Slept a few and started cleaning and getting things in order. My ass is dragging today

Re: Project boats

Got a 1977 mako 23 for "free" that was hit by a forklift after the hurricane. It was completely rewired pre storm and didnt sink in the storm.

I can do fiberglass work so it is a cheep fix

So now I have all below water line work done just need to barrier coat the repairs and bottom paint.

Next I have to fix a few spots above the waterlineb fair and paint. I am painting her battleship grey.

Buddy gave me a leaning post and got a big bimini for it.

She will be powered with a f200 Yamaha with a jackplate.
