Re: Don't ever buy anything from scubadown16

So has anyone actually bought a fourseas speargun after reading all these threads on scubadown16 's poor customer service and shoddy workmanship?

Also from what I'm reading it seems as if scubadown16 makes you pay for the return shipping whenever he does a terrible job at building the speargun.

I've bought stuff from more reputable speargun dealers in the past and if you find anything is wrong with the craftsmanship or functionality of the brand new gun you don't have to pay anything to return the gun to have it fixed by the manufacturer.

Well I suppose when no one is buying your guns, you have to give them away. Plus, winning something that doesn't work isn't my idea of a good time. You should spare the kids the misery of owning one of those pieces of crap and just throw it away. However, if you do raffle it be sure to add a gift certificate for Long John Silvers to the prize because if you go out to shoot anything with a 4 Seas gun and expect to eat fish you must be ready to go out to get it.

Re: Don't ever buy anything from scubadown16

ok I am bored and this looks like fun. First I have never bought a gun from scubadown16 but have bought one or two blanks and one he milled the track form me. It came out great. Did not have issues so cant say I lnpw how he is if that arises but he shipped prompt and blanks were great. I hear only two guys saying they had issues. I am curious what were those issues. Post some pics and explain what was wrong with the guns rather then saying they are total pos etc. I mean the basics of a gun is no rocket science how bad was it?

What I dont understand is that it looks to me like he's trying to copy
Daryl Wongs work. Why spend money on a knockoff carbon hybrid. You aught to just anti up and buy the real thing. like anything else, you get what you pay for.

I was trying to explain to him that wrapping a gun is different than making a gun and will not affect the accuracy or range or quality in the gun itself.
