Question on shipping a Car from Norcal

Totally irrelevant to diving, but do any of you guys know any shippers that can ship a car from Eureka To Oxnard. My girls grandfather recently passed away and we would like to bring his car from his property in Eureka over here to Oxnard. Unfortunately when they went up there were no trailers available nearby.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Check out uship.com

You let them know what you want to ship and carriers will bid on the job.

This^

I've used the site personally. Good prices and you can check out a driver's reviews.

Go to Chapins off Commercial and rent a tow bar. Your dads truck can easily handle anything. Sorry to hear about that man.

Roust up a flight, go midweek when it's cheapest, and drive down.
Must be some local family there who can help get you from the airport to the vehicle, or Uber/ taxi it to get the process started.

Too nice a drive to piss away to a shipping company. If it were from Reno, or Albaquerque down to Oxnard, I would be more inclined to ship.

U-Ship works great. Just make sure your carrier is properly insured. I hired a transportation company via U-Ship to bring a used Parker 2520 out to CA from North Carolina. Very easy process and cost effective. Good luck with the car.

Thanks for the help guys. I got a $550 quote from a company forgot the name off the top but I'll look into Uship today.

Paul that's true it's a hell of a nice drive. My girl made the drive already last month and 15 hours with a pregnant lady is not gonna work out again.

Leave her at home to save on money for the extra flight cost. Solo mission, cruise home.
