Re: wtb 30" or less murky water power gun

I’m going to be refinishing and selling my 28” when the season ends. Got some aesthetic issues at this point but it’s a killer.

I shoot it with 3 14.5mm bands now. I took the reel off because it just adds drag and I can just drop the gun and fight off my float. I’ve taken quite a few 20lb bass with the thing and hundreds of other fish.

I’d have to see if the reel will even attach at this point. Lot of corrosion in the insets from not being used for a few seasons.

I’d do $250 without the reel $325 with it, if it is still possible I’ll break out the wire brushes.

I really need a reel on this gun bc it's for large cobia in dirty water on the oil rigs. floats dont work on this type of structure

Bad ass. I’ll see what I can do with a wire brush tip on a Dremel with rust remover. This gun is built to sink for my type of diving and the other part of the extra density is it doesn’t kick much. I’m sure it would blow through a big cobia less then 6’ away.

I had luck with a Pathos carbon 90 and 7.5mm shaft w 2 small ID 14mm-14.5mm tied 360-380% in those conditions. Wood guns are nice but rail guns will be easier to swing and track fish around rig legs. Especially when a big lemon head pops underneath your fins in chocolate milk water. Good luck with your search

Bruh I got this Riffe metal tech 1 with a reel. If you were better at spearfishing you d probably be able to kill something with it
