Spearfishing around Sea Isle
I am pretty new to spearing (hunted successfully once last sunmer) but I’m living in Sea Isle this summer and am wondering if anyone is around and knows good spots that are accessible. I have tried in Townsend’s and Corson’s but haven’t gotten good viz at either spot. If anyone knows decent places nearby that would help a lot. If anyone could give insight that’d be great.

Re: Spearfishing around Sea Isle
Viz highly depends on the tide. Try at slack high. Sometimes it's completely random. Clean water will come for a week and then disappear. You just have to keep trying. Find someone with a boat and head a few miles offshore for more clear water

Spearfishing Hereford inlet
Quote:
Hereford inlet in North Wildwood has the best visibility down there. It's pretty deep too, around the small jetties. https://goo.gl/maps/THBrgmAPgPFPVaLm9 Last edited by water_moccasin; 06-19-2019 at 06:04 PM. Reason: nah |
