Any buddy with the right head on the shoulders could see right through your bullshit.

Who wants to pay 300 a day to rent a panga that you could rent for 90 a day? What? You pay 210? For your guiding?

I'm done here, you're a joke

No, no panga. We now have a 24' center console from the USA. Secondly, the rate you are quoting in an island that is 37 miles out to sea. Glad you can find pangas that rent for $90 a day. We are also a Riffe dealer and Jay can tell you that. I am not going to argue with the business major. If you want a great dive experience people you can email the other people that have responded on the board or you can call me!

Re: Spearfishing Mulege, Baja California Sur, Mexico

I spent a week in Mulege this spring, and our group hired a panga to take us out for a couple of full days of spearing yellowtail. I am pretty sure we paid $350 per day or more. With 3 divers, that broke down to less than $125 per day, and we got not only a ride, but local knowledge, and our fish cut up. I have been in other areas of Mexico and paid over $600 per day for a panga.

I don't regret it, as I learned enough to make it worth the investment. I think we are going to start seeing a lot more about Mulege as more people discover it. It is kind of an undiscovered treasure at this point.

Robert is a stand up guy and business owner. His knowledge about the spots around Mulege can only be done by putting fins in the water.

Still selling them, a couple at a time. Not enough to justify an advertising budget, so I can't promote them here. Feel free to p.m. Or email for more info though.

Not trying to get political or name establishments, but the last time me and my buddy stayed near la paz it ran us $170 a day each (Lodging with ac, breakfast and lunch, and panga included), only thing we had to provide was dinner and booze. Results speak for themselves

My prices are $150 per person to spearfish the islands around us. For another $15 you guys can each have your own hotel room. We are out for a complete 8 hours and usually get in 5 to 6 different locations. Then we usually go back to my restaurant or my house and have beers and cook the fish up. This is a total experience, not someone just taking you out and you are back in a 2 pm. I have had days where we get in at dark in the summer. I do not stop spearfishing until you are done! I am not right for everyone. Some people want a vacation along with spearfishing and some people are on a total budget and cannot afford to come here.

The other tour is a remote island that is not visited much. It is 38 miles each way to it and it is loaded with large fish and everything else. It is a volcano and is really amazing to see. The visibility is usually always around 100' and the sea life is amazing. This tour take about 12 hours and cost $250 per person. If you are on a budget then the other tour is great. Still big fish just not as remote.

Also, If you never have been to Mulege it is a totally different world. There is only 3200 people that live here. The town is built on a Oasis so there is a natural fed river that comes out of the ground. Millions of palm trees everywhere and the community is incredible. If you are looking for a real Mexican experience, Mulege will provide that. Look it up on the internet and you will see for yourself.

Yea, I think that's very doable. I'd be up for a trip down there after March. I have a feeling there are many fish down in Mulege that need to be punished.
