Me stop messing with Metal Tech long time already.
Kill spike is those trident 3 prong tip ?
If so , its heavy and be lots of drag, slow for sure, accuracy wise I bet its quite bad.

Spare shaft holder would be easy. Buy spare enclosed track from Riffe. Cut small pieces say 2 inch. Use two. Glue it to the left barrel ( no shooting line release ).
In between the two tracks, get a super magnet to hold the shaft from shifting. You can hide the super magnet in small wooden block. Euro Riffe has magnet embedded in their forward track.

Or, I recall Power Glue sold their wall mounting clips, maybe that one useable too as spare shaft holder.
