just an up date on the dive area mentioned. My wife and I went out yesterday to the oil well area just to do some fishing and found the water to be 58 degrees and pretty clear, most likely 30' vis from the top. We put a few fish in the boat but nothing that gave us bragging rights. Keep in touch.
That sounds great! In the same area, I also have a barge that went down and the cargo is about 400ft. from the wreck. These numbers were given to me in time delay so I had to convert them over so I know that there will be a mathmatical error to overcome and actually find the sites but I'm equipt with a side shooter and down imaging. There is a ton of good diving in that area as you well know. I hope that the swamp water doesn't make it out that far. Give me a call when you see some day light.
