Re: Aimrite 85cm roller

For rubber fully stretched to first notch you are looking at a full distance of 146cm (70cm + 76cm)
To get around 350% you would need a band length of approximately 42cm (146cm/42cm = 3.48 = 348%....

Re: Belt reel with breakaway, or complete breakaway to float

While I’ve never used a polespear, I think the line should be connected to the spear and not the band.
Jus thinking if you’re holding the line while it’s attached to the band, the band can stretch...

Foot pockets

Hi guys, I’ve only ever used Hammerhead Kaudal pockets. Size 6-7 fit without foot pocket (hurts after a while) and size 8-9 fits with 3mm foot pocket (but with a little wiggle room). Don’t know if...

Re: Briante spearguns

Silvery looking item could be a small shackle?

The alemanni carbon railgun uses this band configuration if I’m not mistaken.

Re: Briante spearguns

For this type of rubber setup (where you have a single rubber to the front of gun attached around halfway of the gun to 2-3 rubbers towards the rear) is there dyneema in the single front band to...

Re: Rob Allen Carbon Fiber Barrels

This is interesting. I assume the carbon gun here had a lead weight in the muzzle? Can the backward shift on the carbon gun be due to Newton’s law ‘for every action there is an equal and opposite...

Re: target results

Maybe both rubbers at 360% is overpowering the gun. The 6.75 shaft may not be able to handle all that power.
Retie the band for the rear notch using a longer wishbone (which will decrease the...

Re: Pathos Carbon damaging the rubber

Rest the bands on a flat surface (looks like an O)
Is the damage on the inner or the outer part of the bands?

For me, I noticed my bands had damage on the outer parts. I only realized after...

Re: 2 shafts, 1 gun

I used both 160x7mm & 150x7mm shafts on my 120 RA. I prefer the 150. The gun feels a little bit lighter in the water. I used 2 x 14mm ra green bands with no issues. Some ppl say you’ll have problems...

Re: How short is too short? Will this damage my barrel ?

What’s the length of the gun? Depending on the length, the shaft will now have a slight ‘bend’ as it isn’t sitting flat on the track. This may cause accuracy problems. I suggest you just get a longer...

Re: Pushing pipe guns to maximum potential!

Great work as usual. I have a few questions.

Would an aluminium barrel help dealing with some of the recoil?

Or even the Pathos Sepia Stabilizers? (Which is supposed to add mass)

I used a...

Re: 130 Rob Allen Rollergun Review

I’ve read that you start to lose the ‘gain in performance’ when u go beyond 110. I have a 110 roller and I am really happy with it. I use 14mm bands (with a bridle attached to the rubber at the...
