Chase Tower in Houston USED to have polished stainless steel sides to the escalators from the parking garage to the lobby that tilted back at a 45 degree angle. I was surprised how long it took them...

I was told that the prevailing high pressure systems keep a lid on the waves. I don't know if that is true. I do know that when I worked for an offshore O&G company, we couldn't do much drilling...

Scuba tanks - explosion danger during fill

Seems I recall one brand of scuba tank was known to rupture on occasion killing or injuring the person filling the tank.

Anyone remember what company that was? I'm trying to buy some used tanks...

A buddy of mine, as a stunt, shot three lookdowns on one shaft (like the old one about shooting two doves with one shot?) and gave one to me.

There is not much meat on a lookdown, the filets...
