Funny....... I hit one spot that often is loaded with bugs a few days before opening.... nothing in shallow.... 2 days later..... 5 miles up to coast...... lots in shallow............. fish...

The anchor is a "tourist attraction" placed there by the guards a few years ago. It's just the anchor.... no chain, etc, which is first clue that it did not come from a ship at it's present...

Fish heal well.... as long as not in vital organs. I've taken serverl halibut that apparently jumped off of a gaff (lots of stories of halibut lost when trying to gaff). I also got a good size...
