Wow mike, that looks great! Did you use muriatic acid? If so, at what concentration? I finally used about 40% muriatic after doing some reading and it did a great job of eating all the deposits...

Check ot this bottle from the Baja. Once i washed out the sand and mud I was left with this cool shell in a bottle. It obviously grew there because the hole in the top is very small.

So if I understand you right, a swell period of >10 secs is good even if the swell height is 5 or 6 ft? And the wind wave height is critical. Is a wind wave height less than 3 ft...
