Re: Does anyone sell replacement rubber for Rob Allen belt?

I'm betting my belt is old enough that the buckle isn't compatible with the new setup, but at $38, I can handle buying a whole new belt.

As to Greg and Vanessa "having it together", I don't know...

Re: Does anyone sell replacement rubber for Rob Allen belt?

Re: Mako Predator Pro Length Help

You could order an 80cm gun, but with the shaft of a 70cm gun. On the plus side, you'll have a gun that is the same overall length grip to tip as a standard 70, but with only about 4" less range...

Re: kala?

Thanks for the info sir! I remembered there was something about them having a sharp fin, but I couldn't recall what the deal was. I'll probably avoid shooting them on my next trip, but if I do take...

kala?

When I was in Maui a couple years ago I was trying to learn what fish I could and couldn't spear, and what were good eating and what weren't. I recall being told that kala, (Unicornfish), were not...

Re: WARNING - if you dive Garrapata - DON'T

One of the DFG guys in Mendocino said they think the GWS will kill a number of seals along a stretch of coastline so they have a food source. Kinda like a bear killing a deer and partialy burying...

Re: Any salvimar ST-blade knife reviews?

Hey Bill, just out out of curiosity, what are you using now? I lost my Riffe knife after nearly 10 years, and have replaced it with the cheapest Omer. I too wear my knife on my forearm and secure...

We've got piggies here in CA too. This is my first. My hat's off to you folks who are taking them with a bow, especially with traditional gear!

Re: Does anyone sell replacement rubber for Rob Allen belt?

Bill, you are correct. The Freedive Shop is indeed the RA importer now. The owners, Greg and Vanessa, are great folks to deal with and if RA produces the belt, they'll get it to you.
I'm glad I...

Re: Weatherby Rifle 4 Sale

I didn't really consider the ammo cost. I hope you didn't think I was saying the round was "expensive". The word I used was "impressive":thumps:

I've never paid a lot of attention to ammo cost...

Re: Teacher Knows if You’ve Done the E-Reading

One thing I remember about some of my profs. They had a reputation for writing their own text books and changing them every year so the next class had to buy the current book, and there was no...

Re: Teacher Knows if You’ve Done the E-Reading

I agree with you Bill. When I was in college I had professors who tested from their lectures, from text material, or both. All they really cared about was that you learned what they were trying to...

Re: Weatherby Rifle 4 Sale

One of my co-workers pretty much lives to hunt, and buys a new rifle in a different caliber about every two years. He told me that based on it's performance on Elk and Deer, his 257 Weatherby is the...

Re: Diver friendly motel in Fort Bragg

Thanks guys. A co-worker put me onto the Seabird. They take dogs and have an indoor pool and hot tub. A big room with two queen beds runs $80/night, so we'll have room for the kids and the pooch. ...
