East winds tomorrow then SE on Saturday may bring some of that water closer in. Or it could be crap but worth a look regardless.

Yeah, it'd be good to buddy up. My range is limited to about 70 miles out but don't want to be more than 50 out. 25' modified V twin outboard. I'm not expecting to run into a tuna but I'm equipped...

I'm also thinking Mudhole. Looks like a high pressure system moves in on Friday. I'm thinking going Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Let me know if you want to coordinate.

Get one, buy mine. OK Malibu XL. I used it to dive bridges, inlets, and even took it to Block. With the right ground tackle and a good flag and you can go anywhere.

IMO its best to use one type of rig and stick with it. Every time I switch, like going from reel to floatline, I run into problems. I dive from shore mostly so use a float and when I go from boats...

What type of floatline are you using? The polyfoam ones hang up more than the vinyl.

The most I want to kayak round trip is 6-7 miles. I usually want to beach once on the longer trips. Getting there isn't a problem but getting back can be exhausting. I typically need one day rest...

I have an 82 AL that handles great. It came with two 17.5mm bands but I felt it was over powered and switched them for slightly shorter 16mm. Shoots great.

their navigation and layout is unconventional but it works and is well designed. I dealt with them recently on a shipping mishap which was my fault and they dealt with it quickly.

The week before last on the 21st and 22nd there was rain and high wind. Then a bit of swell on the 25th. Things didn' clear up until the 28th. With the swell and rain today and the relatively calm...
