Re: RA 120 Carbon or AIMRITE 120 carbon?

I have a 120 Aimrite Venom Carbon. It's quiet and very accurate. I really believe if you have the money buy carbon. The carbon is quiet and the resale is better than an aluminum gun

Re: Cressi Gara 3000LD's

They will. You're the same size as me and I wear Cressi 3000LD 8/9's barefoot. I used them 5 years and they're great plastic fins, but recently moved up to Pursuit carbon C90's. Still use Cressi's...

Re: euro gun question?

I like my 120 Aimrite Venom Comp for everything, reef and bluewater. I hunt mostly reef and would prefer a 130 for bluewater, but I think a 120cm is a good compromise.

If you have the cash, I'd...

Re: Florida natural springs

Warm Mineral Springs in Sarasota County (warm mineral springs, FL). I know Aquarush diving teaches a freedive class there, so I would assume they allow freediving. Drops to 100ft straight down and...

Re: Out of JP 11/24

Sounds/looks like a great day! Vis can be really good in the Gulf, but takes more time to clear out after cold fronts, rough weather etc.

Re: Information Needed about St. Lucia

I completely agree. I stayed at Sandals Regency "La Toc" with a huge wedding party and we had a great time, but the city was sketch. They have guards at the resort entrance for a reason. I did scuba...

Re: NS Carbon Blades Available

I'm very interested in these fins. Would you suggest Medium or Hard for dives 75fsw-100fsw for a 170lb person? H Dessault pockets

Does the hard blade still have decent flex?

Re: New to the Area, Sport, and Boards

Sounds like you're in the Bradenton/ Sarasota area. Bradenton Beach has a couple reefs you can get to by Kayak, but you really need a boat on the FL West coast for anything good IMO. The good...

I 2nd that. The new Picasso footpocket is so comfortable and fits my foot perfect. Picasso doesn't seem to get the respect it should here on the East coast. I have been using Picasso pockets with...

This time of year (rainy season) it's hit or miss near shore; usually bad, but there are nice days. Offshore same deal. If we have a couple weeks with no rain, the water clears up nice

Rob Allen, AImrite, Mako are great guns (aluminum or carbon)

favorite wood gun is...
