Re: "Off season" pursuits and bragging thread

Didn't get to dive once this year, a major disappointment. Super busy with work, a UN Contract in West Africa, and missed the whole season. Did manage to have an awesome fall though. 4wks of...

La Paz January

Going to be in La Paz for a week in January. Will try to get out with Pistoleros for a day or two, but as I have a 4x4 and the Missus along, can anyone suggest any good spots for shore...

Re: 31 pound pig!

Nice! My largest ever was 28.5lbs. It knocked off my mask and bloodied my nose thrashing after the shot. Carp are deceptively powerful for their size.

Reach in and tear out a gill, quiets...

Re: Float Line

How deep are you diving? How much current is there? I tend to stick to a 75' with a kelp carrot. I hate reels when there is kelp. Up here the fishing doesn't really start until 50', so a 75'...

Re: OMG - Seeing like a Bird Flying your Drone - AMEN!

As a person, all this drone tech is very interesting.

As a Commercial Pilot, it's terrifying. Have already had more then a few near misses with RC planes and copters. For some reason these...

Greatest thread ever. HUGE fan of Ceviche. Combined with a Negro Modelo from a frosty Keg, and all is right with the world.

Re: GPS/Fishfinder for kayak diving

Price vs. Features. I wanted a basic Sonar/GPS combo, with as big of a screen as I could fit in the Fishfinder well on my Trident 15. I almost accomplished this, but i still pull the head unit when...

Amazing little bike, good luck with your sale. I jumped off my 919 onto one of those little CBR's a few weeks ago. Corners like a housefly, and feels like FAR more bike then the 250cc would...

Re: OK Trident Ultra 4.3 vs Hobie outback

no sail. I don't go out far, don't have to here. You can literally throw a stone in 300'+ from shore in many places. that being said I need a boat that i can paddle a good distance and contend with...

Re: OK Trident Ultra 4.3 vs Hobie outback

I had a camo boat, sold it and went with a bright yellow one. Pleasure boaters are stupid, you want to be as visible as possible out there. To many near misses.

I run a Trident 15 and love it,...

"hiding" from the coast guard. This is not the US, you will have NO rights if they catch you, tread cautiously. Bribes can go either way. "Dive Masters" in the region are super sketchy, the...
