Butcher, your description sounds similar to what I use which are the tiny bands for castrating farm animals. Run a length of shock cord through it and you have yourself a heck of a bullet bracelet

Glad to provide the laughs and I should have clarified... the idea of releasing fish was in regards to the fresh water one as that what we shoot around here and are easier to get...not the salt water...

For $78 it's not a bad mask...sell a ton of them up here as it is on the lower end of the pricing scale for a pretty good quality mask. Good quality silicone skirt. Mid-size frame so it should fit...
