Wrasselin, be sure, it is a bands isue, in 20 years of Rg's use, i never see that, i have always do multistage Rg's wit max elongation of 400% and never hasthis band deformation, i use Kent Elastomer...

I am sorry, you have your calculations, but i have my facts, in more than 15 years building RG's for me a RG is more eficient with a heavy shaft

Marc Valentin do a slow motion video of 5/8" bands at 350% pulling a 6,5mm shaft on a 110 marc valentin gun on water, the wish bone go out the notch at 14 cms of travel, so after 14cms pull the shaft...

but the sea water is free, and when you travel by plane, each pound of lead cost, just figure how much gear you can take with you replacing the 12 lbs of lead?

Look at the tank picture, your bands are going to the left, they arent centered, that will be the problem, nice gun i love it!!:toast:
