My take on it is that he wanted to go deep. Listen to his breathing. He is calm. He is breathing at the same rate as me sitting here watching. Or may be he got a bad case of nitrogen narcosis and became stupid. What a shame.

Whatever it is, suicide, a case of the dumb asses, a couple video clips edited together, it doesnt much matter. At this point its just entertainment on the internet.

I agree he only looked at his depth gauge when he was walking along the bottom. He wanted to "set the record" and he got entangled and never recovered

Personally I think he knew that was his last dive before he got wet. He hit bottom two times before going deeper. They said he was an instructor so he had to have some basic skills and sense to dump his weight. Sad regardless of how or why it happened.

Pargo is that Persian they are speaking?

I agree, I'm thinking suicide or he tried to do a ill planned bounce dive and things went wrong, he may have gotten narked, equipment failed, or gotten tangled up and freaked out.

I tried to look at the discussion on the deco stop website but you have to be a member to read it. What did they make of it?

Right before the end you could hear some air releasing, I was thinking he was trying to inflate his bc or it got punctured and realeased all the air in it.
