Warning: Dixie Sands Scuba Liquidates and Sells Your Gear!!

Please be advised that Dixie Sands Scuba located on Kirkman Drive in Orlando, FL has liquidated. The doors are closed and they are in the process of selling gear at a reduced price. Although I have an active fill card which was kept at the store, the owner advised that no such program was in place and no refund would be forthcoming. Additionally, he is starting to sell gear that patrons have not picked up yet! If you have gear or know someone who has gear at this store, please have them call Toney at 407 512 3333 before he sells it!

Yea, I just got my dive computer back from them. Got a call from Tony that he has all the inventory and is selling at blow out prices. Long story short--I drive out to a residence and scope out some gear. Tony pulls out a catalogue and offers 30% off some price guide. The price was lower than usual retail but not a steal. He had some personal gear left in the shop and refused to sell to me, and stated that this was a customer"s gear and he would contact the owner to return it. If you had some big bucks you could make him a package deal on all of the existing stock. There was also a compressor and fill station not spoken for.

I guess that explains why he bailed on his sponsership for a dive team for the Florida tournaments.
