Mako hunting video...

I have edited my Mako shark video and would like to show everyone what it will be like to jump in the water with these powerfull teethy fish. The video is about 10 mb. How can I post a video this large?

This coming Saturday we will be geared up and in the water looking for some of these bad boys. There is an awsome temp break about 24 miles out that should be holding some beauties.

WHY?

I can understand that you are a thrill seeker, but in order to locate these sharks you will surely need to chum them up. Once you have some chum in the water and have attracted them to the boat they are just going to hang around. It's not like they are going to be frightened or even that weary like a YT or YFT. You will simply jump in the water (which I agree takes some guts) and wait for one to come by to take a closer look and shoot it. It seems like a waste to kill something so impressive just to say you did it. I would much rather catch them by rod and reel, fight them and let them go. It's the same principle reason I don't agree with big game hunters around the world who kill Lion, Bear, Rhino.... I'm not dogging you, just the idea. I hope there are not too hard of feelings because I can tell you are a true waterman. If you follow through with this be careful, they are extremely fast and very aggressive!!

So can you host my video???

By the way, you won't find me in the water with these bad boys. I am just the conduit for the hunters. You will see up me on deck chumming away, and a big ole 2 speeder in one hand and my camera in the other. I have C and R'd over 30 makos in the past year, and have only killed one.

Right on Kyle. By the way I'm out the door for a sunset dive looking for WSB off south LJ kelp. It is only a matter of time I hope. I know they are in there!

Adios!

Just got back from a PM shore dive of point loma, vis bad close in and opened up to about ten foot further out. Didnt see anything worth taking home. I would not even THINK about jumping into chummed water with a mako! But i would like to see it. They are quite tasty.

Just listen to the old PorkChop express and take his advice on a dark and stormy night alright? When some wild eyed, 8 foot tall maniac grabs your neck and taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall and looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you, "Have you paid your dues?" You just stare that big sucker right back in the eye and you remember what old RickDawg always says at a time like that. "Have you paid your dues yet Rick? Yes sir,the check is in the mail."

I have to break the vid into sections, it is too large to host as of now. Just give a few days.
