What did Santa give us spearo's?

Santa was cool to me because he knows I spear.

I got a way cool underwater headlight. Never tried one before, I hope it helps for when you gotta make those double handed bug grabs.

I also got a gift certificate to West Marine and a pair of fishing pliers.

I hope Santa gave you guys some cool spear gear as well. I am sure that of all the people on this board at least one lucky guy got a new gun!!!

Santa gave me a really cool LED light, and a cutco adjustable filet knife(blade can slide out longer, very helpful for WSB). Santa was really enthusiastic about the light, because she was walking through costco the other day and saw the cost of lobster tails. Santa also got tired of seeing her good kitchen filet knives out in the back yard cutting up fish. Now if santa would just let me out of baby duty and out of the house for a day....

I got a new gun.... Just not the underwater kind. Santa (dad) gave me a Ruger Single Six 50th anniversary revolver. It's a sweet gun.

Sweet deal on the metal tech. See, Santa does care about the spearo's

Yesterday I cashed in some of my gift certificate to West Marine and got a couple of measurement stickers for my kayak.

Quantities of (2 wks) and quality time with my girlfriend. And because the weather was bad the whole time, I wasn't tempted to go spearfishing... for too weeks, two of her rivals were vanquished: work and diving. So relationship-wise, I've now gotten myself out of debt and have money in the bank.

hahahaha....classic

Carraig-
that's classic.....I also earned some money in the bank. I had 2 weeks off, no surfing, diving, or working on the house, it was all "quality time."

I'm coming up on 43 years of marriage, but as I told my wife yesterday, it only seems like 63.

My two grandkids, just over ages one and three, are here from Dec 18 until Jan 12, so its just as well that the diving is poor so that there have been no conflicts between duty and diving. However, I'm about Grandpa'd out, so I would welcome some clear water soon after the 12th.

Re: What did Santa give us spearo's?

A little late from Christmas, but perfect timing for my birthday... I just talked with Mori yesturday about starting on my 65" bluewater gun, shooting a 11/32" x 67" shaft. It's gonna be a good year.
