Re: Herranenspearguns fan club thread
Bill, you're more than welcome to the Wong he's refinishing for me so that I can have another one of his originals. I'll probably wind up selling it for that reason anyways.

Well, if you change your mind, Phil has it, and I don't think he'd mind parting with it. I, myself, am getting another custom creation.

Re: Herranenspearguns fan club thread
I have to agree with everyone, Phil is amazingly generous with his time & knowledge...and also at giving away cool building tips...which a lot of people would keep to themselves.
It's very impressive when these are your first thoughts of him...especially when he is such an amazing gun builder! |

Re: Herranenspearguns fan club thread
That's cool...I'll be one of the "everyone" trying to copy it!!....that's another $10-20 saved on a remote trigger....between the line anchor, pushrod retainer, trigger, line guide and pushrod ....you can save $60 by using SS rod for all the above...and a lot less screws.

Re: Herranenspearguns fan club thread
Some of the biggest fans of Herrenan Spearguns are other builders. Phil is like an encyclopedia of knowledge of all aspects of building Spearguns, and, he shares this knowledge with all of us. Half the time when a builder poses a question on here, they're really just asking Phil. He's a true craftsman and innovative pioneer, with guns like the Water Ballasted Carbon Fiber Beast, and he tops it all with an attention to detail rght down to the best Resin Tints and Camo's I've seen on here. I'll definitely tip my hat to Herrenan Spearguns.
