African pompano have moved in and also i saw three big permit recently and I havent seen any in 3 years so thats a good sign. We will be targeting amberjack, dolphin when they move in, ling (cobia), all different kind of legal snapper and grouper, especialy warsaw, this is a good time of year. A beginer kid shot his first fish a big ole warsaw grouper a few weeks ago. Then red snapper june 1st. But you really never know what you can encounter in the gulf. I see new fish at the rigs every year. Every year currents bring a surge of different fish.
